Best payment method for camgirls

Getting paid as a camgirl can be a little confusing. When you set up your camgirl profile the website you work on will ask you what payment option you want to use. It will probably include lots of payment options you’ve never heard of. But which payment method is best for camgirls? Or more importantly, which one is the cheapest so you keep more of your earnings. I’ve listed the most common payment methods below. So let’s find out.

Getting paid as a camgirl

So, how does it work?
1) Create an account on the webcam website of your choice
If you’re not sure what camsite to pick here are the easiest camsites to make money on.
2) Upload all necessary documents.
3) The camsite will ask what payment method you want to use, pick the method that suits you best.
4) Login and earn money
5) Wait for your earnings to be paid out.

Please note that the payout minimum and payment frequency depends on the camsite you work on. Most camsites pay you every 14 to 21 days. It then takes upto 7 working days for the payment to reach you, depending on the payment you’ve selected.

Getting paid by (international) wire transfer

If you’re not in the US most websites will offer you the option of a wire transfer (international bank transfer). Camsites charge somewhere from $40 – $60 for a wire transfer. Your bank then charges a percentage for currency conversion, which is usually around 3.5%. Most EU and UK banks also charge you a set fee for processing an international transfer. So if you can, I’d stay away from wire transfers as you’ll end up losing a lot of your earnings in wire, banking and currency conversion fees.

Getting paid through an instant bank transfer (ACH) US only

If you’re in the US most webcam websites will offer you instant bank transfers. It’s usually free (or a very small fee). The minimum payout varies per webcam or content website. Same for the payout frequency and process time. If you’re in the US this is probably the cheapest and fastest way to get paid as a camgirl. ACH transfers are not available for people outside of the US.

Getting paid by check

Most camsites will offer payment by check. There’s usually no fee. If you’re located in the US / Canada you should receive your check within 5 working days. But if you’re not in the US or Canada it’s most likely not the best option for you.

If like me you’re in the United Kingdom or in Europe it can take up to 3 months to receive your check. I’ve even had 2 checks that got lost in the mail so they had to re-send it. After finally receiving your check you’ll need to visit your bank. In some cases you’ll need to tell them who sent the check and what it is for which could be awkward. You’ll still need to pay the currency conversion costs and most UK and EU banks charge a fee to process and deposit a check. Waiting weeks or months for a check and then having to visit a bank is probably not the most efficient way to get paid.

Getting paid by Sepa transfer

If you’re located in the UK or Europe you can use Sepa transfers. A sepa transfer is basically just an EU bank transfer. That means you’ll receive your earnings directly into your bank account. A Sepa payment is always sent in Euro’s. So if you’ve got a GBP account your bank will charge you a currency conversion cost upto 3.5%. And since the transfer isn’t in GBP it will be classed as an international transfer so you also have to pay a processing set for for that. If you’ve got a Euro account a Sepa transfer is free of charge.

So, that being said… if you’ve got a Euro account go with Sepa payments. It’s free and the fastest way for getting paid as a camgirl.
If you’re in the UK check what other payment methods are available as something else might work out cheaper for you.

Getting paid by CosmoPayment

Cosmopayment is a payment processing company. So when you get paid by Cosmopayment there are multiple fees to pay. You’ll have to create an account on their website. Once it’s approved you’ll receive a Cosmopayment debit card. Depending on where you live it can take upto 5 weeks te receive.

You’ll have to pay to receive the debit card, pay a monthly account fee, then pay to load your earnings into your Cosmopayment account. You’ll also have to pay to use the ATM to withdraw your earnings. And if like me, you don’t live in the US you’ll also have to pay a currency conversion at the ATM. According to the Cosmopayment website that’s upto 3.5%.

That’s makes Cosmopayment quite expensive and you’ll end up losing quite a bit of your earnings to the CosmoPayment fees. But if you want your camgirl earnings on a seperate debit card this could be the best payment method for you. At this moment Cosmopayment is not available for the US or Canada.

Getting paid by ClubDailyPay

ClubDailyPay is a daily pay service. It transfers your webcam earnings directly into your bank account the next day. As the name implies you get paid daily. So that means you’ll have your earnings in your EU or UK bank account within 24 hours of earning them. They’ll also convert it into your own currency for free. Which is a really good deal.

There are no loading fees or transfer fees. You only pay the 6% service fee. Which often is cheaper than using a wire transfer, CosmoPayment or Paxum. If you work on more than 1 camsite you can link all your camgirl earnings to ClubDailyPay and they’ll send all earnings from all camsites you work on in 1 payment. Pretty handy.

If a website I’m camming on works with with ClubDailyPay then I’ll definitely use ClubDailyPay. It’s often the cheapest and definitely the fastest way to get my money. At this moment ClubDailyPay is only available in the UK and western Europe.

Getting paid by Paxum

Getting paid by Paxum seems much cheaper than other payment methods. There are no loading fees, service fees and no monthly fees. The only problem I have with Paxum is that you’ll only use Paxum to receive money from US websites. And if you want to receive a payment from the US well then Paxum charges you $50 to receive it.

So getting paid by Paxum costs about the same as an international wire transfer. Paxum also takes long in processing incoming payments. When I’m getting paid through Paxum It usually takes about a week or longer for the money to even appear in my Paxum account.

There’s also a chance you get hit with a currency conversion fee after that. So if you’re looking for a cheap way to get paid as a camgirl then Paxum is probably not my first pick.

At this moment Paxum is not available in the US or Canada.

Getting paid by Epayments

There’s a lot of not so great stories going around about Epayments. And because of that I’ve never tried them. Why not? Because I work hard for my money and I don’t want to use a payment processor that I don’t trust. But here’s how they work. If you receive Dollars on your Epayments account you can transfer them to your own GBP or Euro bank account. There’s a minimum currency conversion fee of $15. There’s no fee for receiving money. You also pay $3 a month for your account. Getting paid with

Epayments is definitly cheaper than Paxum and Cosmopayment. But is it worth the risk? At this moment Epayments is not available in the US or Canada.

Update: The FCA has completley shut down EPayments due to regulation control.

As you can see, there is not just one best payment method for camgirls. What’s best for you really depends on your location and how much you’re willing to lose on transaction fees. How do you prefer to get paid as camgirl?
